It was another busy day of roster moves in Deventer, with MFC Judge letting two more players go and bringing two more in - all in the midfield. Vinicio Naula left the club to join Iron Division side MCD Antofagasta, while Harouna Dangnokho left to join Kings- a Silver Division side in his native Cameroon. The club thanks both Vinicio and Harouna for their contributions and their work laying the club's foundation during its inagural days.
"It's always hard to say goodbye," manager Pieter van der Linden said. "It is especially hard with two lads as amazing as Vinicio and Harouna. They made a valuable contribution to the club during their time here, contributions I know the staff and I, DG Gevelers, and the entire city of Deventer will forever cherish."
With Naula and Dangnokho leaving, the club brought in two midfielders - Spanish maestro Vicente Pardo and Nowegian stalwart Bjørn Sollie. Pardo will take the number 22 shirt, while Sollie will don the number 23. Both midfielders aim to improve MFC Judge's distribution and ball-control, bringing an element of passing and depth that stands to terrorize the rest of the Bronze Division.
Of the moves, experienced assistant Kwame Asante said this:
"We know the sort of club we're aimimg to be. We know we want to distribute, we know we want to play fast, and we know we want to provide exceptional service to the frontline. These moves help us do that. We believe we're a better team today than we were yesterday."
Barring something unexpected, these moves finalize MFC Judge's roster for the upcoming preseason tournament. While the club is yet to find out who they will be facing, one thing is for certain - the boys will be ready,
